U.S. Department of Labor –Office of Disability Employment Policy – DisabilityInfo.gov Web Portal was selected as a finalist for one of the 2009 Intergovernmental Solutions Awards, presented each year by the American Council Technology at its annual Management of Change Conference.

A committee of government and industry IT professionals reviewed the nominations and identified this program as an award finalist because it clearly demonstrates the tremendous progress government agencies at all levels are accomplishing through collaboration and the innovative use of technology. This program demonstrates how adopting best practices—from government as well as from industry--leads to measurable improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of government programs.
