The U.S. Department of Labor's www.DisabilityInfo.gov portal, which is designed, built and managed by Devis, won the 2007 Knowledge Management (KM) Award in the "Knowledge Management Initiative Delivering High Value to Citizens" category. The award was announced at the E-Gov Institute's KM conference and exhibition in Washington, D.C. The KM Awards Selection Committee is comprised of leaders from the public and private sectors who are actively engaged in KM programs for the government.
"We are proud of our contribution to making authoritative information available to American's with disabilities, and we are very happy that the site was recognized with this award," said Devis President Peter Gallagher. The www.DisabilityInfo.gov initiative has been recognized in the past with a best practices award by WebContent.gov and it was highlighted in the Department's annual eGov report to OMB.
