Devis participated in the 2004 IDEAS 508 Conference at the Washington DC Convention Center presenting its innovative approach to "usable accessibility" in e-Learning. Showcasing its EZRO (EZ-Reusable Objects) content management system and just-in-time e-learning tool, Devis promoted not just accessibility and not just open source technology but a merging of the two for best-in-class content management for all users, regardless of physical or technical ability. Devis also presented as a panel member on how Open Source software can promote accessibility within the Government. Devis accessibility expert Andy Affleck pointed out that virtually every web designer today has learned what they know by looking at the HTML/CSS of other web designers, "Web browser view source is the best example of the open learning model out there. With an open infostructure we can all learn from each other and improve as we collaborate and even compete."
