DNA.gov Contract Award - July 2005

The Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice (NIJ) awarded Devis a contract for up to 5 years to support the President's DNA.gov initiative of advancing justice through DNA technology. The contract includes web site management using the Devis-developed and commercially released open source web content management environment known as EZRO for EZ Reusable Objects. The performance based task order includes application service provision, implementing a new site design, as well as training NIJ and partners in how to use EZRO to author both informational and e-learning style content. The newly designed NIJ website will be targeted to assist a wide range of people, including Law Enforcement Officers, Courtroom Personnel, Forensic Scientists, Medical Examiners, Researchers and Victim Advocates. "We're proud to be working with the NIJ to create an accessible site with such a far-reaching impact," said Devis President Peter Gallagher. The new site launch is scheduled for early Fall 2005.
