Devis was the lead (GOLD) sponsor for the FACE conference held June 7-8 at the Washington Convention Center. The theme of the conference, "Mission Possible through Acquisition," recognizes contracting as a key component in supporting how federal agencies acquire the goods and services that enable them to perform their missions. "Devis is pleased to have this opportunity to support the ongoing training activities of the acquisition workforce" said Devis President, Peter Gallagher.
Devis highlighted several of the custom eGovernment applications it has developed for Agencies, in particular the Acquisition Planning Wizard (APW) at GSA. The APW, developed in FEA compliant J2EE architecture, walks acquisition staff through the various types and stages of the acquisition plan. The performance centered user interface includes all of the guidance and policy to enable GSA staff to address all planning documentation requirements. The APW also provides an on-line workflow approval process so the plan can be moved from "draft" to "final" quickly and efficiently. GSA has processed thousands of plans via the APW and it supports all of the objectives in the GSA "Get It Right" campaign.
