Hurricane Coach Launched - October 2005

The US Department of Labor (DOL) launched a set of Web tools to help citizens displaced by recent hurricanes in the Gulf coast areas. The DOL press release stated "The Hurricane Recovery Coach is an innovative online tutorial...for workers, businesses, and reintegration counselors/workforce staff impacted by the recent hurricanes." The OnLine Coach walks users through a series of questions to help them find just the right resources, Federal or State, for their situation. The OnLine Coach runs on the Workforce Connections/EZRO Web content management software developed by Devis. EZRO is open source, zero licensing cost, software that has been re-used on hundreds of Web sites for the Government.
