Arlington, Virginia (October 7, 2008) – Development InfoStructure, Inc. (Devis) today announced that it was awarded a task order to provide support services for deployment and operational support of the Global Acquisition and Assistance System (GLAAS) for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in over 80 countries. GLAAS is based on a COTS software application, PRISM , which is being configured to meet USAID's requirements. This time and materials task order was issued against Devis' GSA Federal Supply Schedule GS-35F-0217J and the Prime 3.4 BPA. The period of performance will be for one base year and two (2) option years, with a value of approximately $27 million if all options are exercised. The Devis team, which includes Compusearch and Unisys, will employ its ITIL-based best practices to deliver system deployment, training, data migration, help desk and operational support as well as PMBOK based project management and Earned Value Management (EVM) for implementation of the GLAAS application at approximately 80 missions worldwide. Devis has supported four (4) previous global software deployments for USAID.
