Scope of Work
America's Heroes at Work is a web portal sponsored by U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) with significant input from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Veterans Employment and Training (VETS), the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Health and Human Services. The portal addresses the employment challenges of returning Service Members and Veterans living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Designed for employers and the workforce development system, the website is the key source of information and tools to help returning Service Members and Veterans living with TBI and/or PTSD succeed in the workplace - particularly Service Members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Skills and Expertise Required
Devis develops and supports the America's Heroes at Work portal utilizing the EZRO open-source, web content management system. The web portal takes advantage of the Devis award winning focus on Useable Accessibility (i.e. Section 508+) and web development expertise.
Devis also hosts the America's Heroes at Work portal using our secure VMWare vSphere 4 virtual infrastructure with monitoring performed by Nagios and up.time to ensure maximum availability to users.
